The International Media and Think Tank Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) was held in Yangzhou, Henan Province, China, from July 23 to 27, 2025, under the title “Cooperation for Global Development.”

More than 400 delegates from SCO member states, observer countries, and partners representing about 200 media outlets, think tanks, government agencies, embassies, as well as international and regional organizations, are participating in the summit. 

Gor Tsarukyan, Director of the Public Relations and Information Center of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, participated in the summit at the invitation of China’s state news agency Xinhua. 

The visit included meetings with the heads of leading Chinese media, think tanks, and international analytical and media organizations. 

In parallel with the official agenda of the summit, there were also visits to Chinese scientific and cultural centers, leading manufacturing enterprises, historical and cultural heritage sites.
